We will have our first PIMB meeting on Monday, Sep 10. Please join us as we discuss several upcoming activities, including Senior Night, Symphonic Auditions, Hospitality needs, Marching Festival and Jazz band activities among other things. We will keep the meeting to an hour, in order to respect your time.

Volunteer Opportunities!

We still have several openings for volunteer:

Truck Driver(s) – We still need another truck driver to help drive the truck with the percussion equipment, drum major towers, water and other rehearsal needs. The job entails picking up the truck in Parkville, driving to PHS, then to the field or competition and back, then returning the truck. For more details, please call or e-mail Lisa Uhrmacher. Prop Committee needs your old sheets! – The prop committee is working on the props for this year’s show. They need some very colourful scrap material, old sheets, linens, fabric to decorate the podiums to look like a marketplace. Please bring your donations to the field on Tuesday night and give to Katie Ervin.

Thinking aheadCappuccino Night is in November, and will include a silent auction. Please start to be on the lookout for donations from businesses you own, or frequent. Restaurant gift cards, Event tickets, Professional Services, Décor Items all make great auction items. Please e-mail with questions, more information to come.

As always, we appreciate your gift of time and talents, and your students appreciate all you do to make our Band program across both campuses such a high-quality experience. The extra things you enable make a huge difference to your students. Everyone hassomething to offer, and it does take a village to raise a band
